The Challenge and Rules
Full Spartan Challenge
a) Pullups - 25 reps
b) Deadlifts with 60kg - 50 reps
c) Press ups - 50 reps
d) 24-inch Box jumps - 50 reps
e) Floor wipers - 50 reps 60kg bar
f) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 16kg Kettlebell - 50 reps
g) Pullups - 25 reps
Novice Spartan Challenge
a) Pullups - 25 reps underhand close grip
b) Deadlifts with 40kg - 50 reps
c) Press ups - 50 reps
d) 18-inch Box jumps - 50 reps
e) Floor wipers - 50 reps 20kg bar
f) Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 12kg Kettlebell - 50 reps
g) Pullups - 25 reps underhand close grip
a)Pull ups 25 reps
Full Challenge; wide grip overhand Novice Challenge; Underhand narrow grip
b.) Deadlift both full and novice; deadlift from floor to standing
c)Press ups: full and novice challenge 50 reps elbows to 90 degrees (Females
can do on knees only in novice challenge.)
d) Box Jumps two footed jump onto box (height according to whether novice
or full challenge)
e) Floor wipers the same for both full and novice challenge just different
weight on bar.Lying on floor hold bar at arms length then bring legs up to
touch weights on bar must touch both sides for each rep.
f) Single arm clean and press full and novice challenge kettlebell must touch
the floor between each rep and extend fully above the head 25 on one arm then
the other the weights are the only variation between full and novice challenge.
g) same as a)
Teams must consist of 2 or 3 people each of them carrying out 2 of the challenges each team member must fill out an individual entry form and send them in together as a team.
You may enter as part of a team and individually.
Every individual should be aware this
is a tough challenge and is responsible for making sure they are fit and healthy
enough to take part
